We are pleased to introduce this month's Client Cameo, Donald M.  He is a respected, retired Boulder pediatrician who cared for many children (including me and my sister).

Donald attended Cadiz Ohio schools, Kiski Boys School, the US Naval Academy, Washington and Jefferson College, Jefferson Medical School and Buffalo Children’s Hospital and was certified as a Pediatric Specialist.  He spent many years associated with the Boy Scouts of America as a troop Scoutmaster, attended a World Jamboree in Japan and many in the United States as a Medical Doctor.

He was a Captain in the Air Force.  While in medical school, Don met his future wife Ann. They married in 1952 and moved to Boulder in 1958.  He had a successful pediatric practice for many years in Boulder.  He spent many years teaching medical students at the University of Colorado followed by two years managing the Physician Assistants Program. Upon retirement, he was designated as a University of Colorado Medical School Clinical Professor of Pediatrics.  In 1973, he was awarded by the Colorado Medical Society for work as Director of Explorer Olympics and the AH ROBBINS Community Service Award.

Donald lost his beloved wife last year after almost seventy years of marriage.  He keeps busy by regularly participating in the many activities available at Frasier. He is a Master Brewer and oversees the Frasier beer brewing, guiding the protocol training of two Brewmasters as they assist Frasier residents brewing beer.

He just turned 95 and is grateful that his daughter and son-in-law live close by and are his "Angels."  Since selling his car this summer, Carry-Out Caravan has been shopping and delivering his groceries for him.  He appreciates our services and enjoyed receiving one of the extra houseplants King Soopers donated to our clients on his last order. We thank you, Dr. Moore, for your decades of service to our community.  We are honored to help provide service back to you!
