Upcoming Events - July 2019
Summer is continuing to heat up and so are events around Boulder County. This July, get outside and enjoy the many opportunities for live music (and tacos!). And don’t miss the chance to see fireworks at one of the local Independence Day celebrations. Read on for July 2019’s upcoming events:
July 4th | 8pm
Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast

This family-friendly Boulder tradition is a great way to celebrate the 4th of July with entertainment and fireworks. Join thousands of other spectators for the fun, and don’t forget to warm up your vocal cords for the traditional sing-a-long! Louisville’s Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks
585 W. Dillon Road, Louisville
Mark your calendar for Louisville’s annual Fourth of July Celebration at Coal Creek Golf Course. There will be food, drinks and entertainment for the whole family. Parking is not available at the golf course, but shuttle services will run from the Louisville Rec Center and Home Depot parking lots. The fireworks will begin around 9:30pm but stop by early to enjoy the food trucks, bouncy houses and live music! For more information, visit the City of Louisville website.

Dead & Company

Calling all Deadheads! Dead & Company is returning to Folsom Field for two nights in early July. Grab your tickets to enjoy all your favorites from the Grateful Dead under the Boulder night sky. Visit the Dead & Company website for more information and to purchase tickets.

Rhythm on the River
220 Hover Road, Longmont
Rhythm on the River is a two day music festival at Rogers Grove Park in Longmont. The annual event began in 1995 with a handful of vendors and two bands. This July, it’s sure to be a bit bigger. With two different stages, twelve bands, a 5k, rubber duck races and lots of food and drink vendors, there’s plenty to check out throughout the weekend. And best of all, the whole event is free! Summer Concert in the Park
1600 Caria Drive, Lafayette
Don’t miss this funky concert at Waneka Lake Park. The band 5th Gear Funk, a local group from Denver known for their high-energy beats, will have your toes a-tapping. The free community concert is hosted by the City of Lafayette.
July 20th
Longmont Jazz Festival
5th & Main, Longmont
The Longmont Jazz Festival is going into its 21st year! Located in the heart of downtown, the celebration will feature a number of jazz musicians and bands. The event is free and open to the whole family. Check the Longmont Jazz website for the lineup and more information.
July 27th | 12pm
Boulder Taco Fest
800 Cherry Avenue, Boulder
It doesn’t need to be a Tuesday to celebrate your love of tacos! The Boulder Taco Fest will take over Foothills Park with vendors serving tacos, craft beer and margaritas. Live music and Lucha Libre Wrestling will round out the fun and family friendly event. You can buy tickets and find the schedule on the Boulder Taco Fest website.
