Our amazing Board of Directors is passionate about serving seniors and helping them flourish. The members generously give their time and resources to ensure program effectiveness, assist in resource development, and provide consultation in the fields of their expertise. We are proud that one hundred percent of our board members support us financially, and that many also provide additional help by volunteering.

Ginger Robitaille

CHAIR | OPERATIONS AND HR PROFESSIONAL

Ginger Robitaille is an Operations and HR professional with experience serving a wide range of industries and companies from small businesses to large corporations. She is accomplished at building teams from the ground up and analyzing current teams to identify their strengths and weaknesses. She focuses on creating operational efficiencies and cultures that drive innovation and growth

Ginger has always held a special place in her heart for our senior community, volunteering her time and enjoying the stories and wisdom that our seniors have shared since her teenage years. Ginger has continued her dedication and support to our senior community by caring for her own family, and the senior community at large, and transitioning her professional focus to senior living, health, and wellness.

Beth Amore

VICE CHAIR | FIRST VICE PRESIDENT, MIDFIRST BANK

Beth Amore moved to Colorado in 2006 and is a Commercial Banker in downtown Boulder. Whether she is assisting with the acquisition of an investment opportunity or providing construction financing to build a dream home, Beth enjoys helping her clients achieve their financial goals. She is currently responsible for the production of new loan and deposit relationships and the management of an existing loan and deposit portfolio.

With more than 15 years of experience in different facets of the Denver-metro real estate industry, including more than nine years in banking, Beth is committed to building long-term customer relationships.

In her free time, Beth enjoys running the Colorado trails as well as hiking with her husband, two kids, and the family dog, Poppy.

TREASURER | FINANCIAL CONSULTANT

Jennifer Fulton Anderson is a financial consultant with over twenty years of experience in executive management in the non-profit and banking sectors. She served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Community Foundation Boulder County, Chief Administrative Officer of International Bank, and Executive Director of Strategy for First National 1870. She spent the first part of her career as an equity research analyst and investment banker in New York and London, most recently with Goldman Sachs. Ms. Fulton Anderson graduated with high honors in Spanish literature from Dartmouth College, is fluent in Spanish, and is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom.

Karen has been a Commercial Insurance Advisor in Boulder County since 1999. She helps business owners understand their insurance needs and protect their assets. Karen is passionate about building and keeping relationships. She is active in the community. In addition to being a Cultivate Board member, she served on the Louisville Chamber board for six years and has been recognized by her peers with an award for “Volunteer of the Year” for her service to the Boulder Chamber. When Karen is not in the office or volunteering you can find her on the golf course or her tandem bike with her husband Richard.

Nancy was networking before she knew she was a networker! She is involved with the local community and numerous organizations. One person recently said, “You are a walking, LIVE, LinkedIn!” Her company, Nancy Chin-Wagner, LLC, is a training and consulting firm that, through her PowerConnections group and programs, helps businesses and professionals to network with confidence and move beyond communication to true connections, leveraging their contacts to attain personal and professional success.

In the course of becoming a leader in the community and expanding her network, Nancy Chin-Wagner realized the immense power of her connections in advancing causes, careers, and relationships. Seeing the struggles that most individuals and organizations have in building authentic and leveraging relationships to achieve goals, she decided to step up and begin educating clients, and organizing connection opportunities through PowerConnections. Her work consists of networking events, speed networking, individual consultation, and speaking at universities and corporations, advising them about the importance of networking.

Lena Heilmann

DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF SUICIDE PREVENTION, CDPHE

Lena Heilmann (she/her), Ph.D., M.N.M., is the Director of the Colorado Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) at CDPHE. Lena began her career in suicide prevention after losing her sister Danielle to suicide in 2012.

As a way to honor her sister and to process her grief, Lena is dedicated to centering lived experience and empowering equity in community-led work. As a lifetime Boulder County resident, Lena is grateful for the opportunity to join the team at Cultivate to support the community that has long supported her and her family.

Carey Mason

CORNELL CERTIFIED DIVERSITY SPECIALIST/TAB CERTIFIED BUSINESS COACH/FACILITATOR

Carey Mason is the Founder/CEO of DEI4BIZ, LLC helping businesses integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into their processes and culture. A Cornell Certified Diversity Practitioner, Carey supports businesses that seek to create an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity and provides equitable opportunities that benefit employees, clients, and the community. Carey provides strategic planning, employee assessments, training, coaching, and consulting specifically tailored to assist businesses in their efforts to change their company culture.

Before starting his consulting practice, Carey amassed more than 35 years of experience in Human Capital Management, with extensive senior executive experience in marketing, product development, sales, operations, human resources, and customer service working with businesses of various sizes throughout the U.S., Australia, and Southeast Asia. His consulting practice employs proven business methodologies that improve financial management to expand services and profitability.

Carey supports several non-profits including Break Through, Community Foundation Boulder County, Cultivate, Fertile Ground, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Out Boulder County, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Las Vegas, TGTHR, and Salute Colorado.

Carey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, his Master of Arts degree from the Ohio State University, and his Diversity Management Practitioner Certification from Cornell University. Carey and his wife Amy reside in Boulder, CO.

Donna F. Mitchell, MD

Donna F. Mitchell, MD

IMMEDIATE PAST CHAIR | BODYPOINT MEDICINE, LLC

Donna is a board-certified anesthesiologist, medical acupuncturist, and Functional Medicine physician. She is the owner and founder of BodyPoint Medicine located in Longmont, Colorado where she treats primarily chronic pain and associated health disorders. She has worked in the medical field for over 35 years. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and Auburn Executive MBA programs. She is married and is a mom to 4 wonderful adult children. She is also volunteering her time as a Field Member for Front Range Search and Rescue Dogs and is a training handler for her working German Shepherd, Anika. Both living away from her elderly parents and caring for elderly patients, she understands the importance of keeping seniors in their own homes for as long as possible and is aware of how difficult that can be when families are spread across the country. She is a YardBusters volunteer for Cultivate as well as volunteers her time as a Board Member.

Robert Schaffner

RETIRED CPA/ VOLUNTEER

Robert M. Schaffner was born in Chicago, Illinois, and resided in the area until his retirement in 2008, at which time he moved to Boulder Colorado. He is married to Marjorie, and they have two children: Jodi (Bryan Sugar) and Adam (Marcie Rubin) Schaffner who have provided them with 6 grandchildren.

Bob is a retired CPA. He spent his career in public accounting for six years and thirty-two years as a financial executive for both public and private companies in the real estate industry. He is a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago. He has served as a member of the board, Treasurer, and Vice President of Congregation BJBE in Glenview, IL, and a national board member of UAHC in New York, NY. Since moving to Boulder, he has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Boulder JCC, and Cultivate, serving as a board member and Treasurer. He currently serves as Treasurer and board member of the Olde Stage Water District, a private water utility in Boulder County.

Regis Quinn

RETIRED PHARMACEUTICAL SALES/ VOLUNTEER

Regis retired after 38 years in sales, mostly in pharmaceutical and animal health sales. He worked for Schering Plough, Organon, Hospira and Amgen. After retiring in 2018, he was looking for ways to help in the community and started volunteering with Cultivate after the Covid epidemic. Regis is a VetsGo driver where he takes Veterans to medical appointments; he also delivers groceries for Carry-Out Caravan when he is able to. He finds the life stories of Cultivate clients fascinating and many of those clients have become his friends. Regis joined the Cultivate Board of Directors in early 2024 and enjoys fundraising and supporting Cultivate in any way possible. He also started volunteering with the American Cancer Society in 2024 where he drives patients to medical appointments.

Regis has been married to his wife Deb for 35 years, together for 40 years, and they have two adult daughters. Deb worked in the lab for the Biotech Industry and was an early employee of Amgen. Regis is originally from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, graduated in 1980 from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Advertising and then moved to Colorado to follow his brother. After that, he lived in Beaverton, Oregon for three years, Thousand Oaks, California for 12 years where his kids were born then back to Colorado in 1999. They have lived in Niwot ever since, which they totally love. Regis enjoys golfing, reading, hiking and senior softball (in his free time) as well as traveling with his family.
