Upcoming Events - June 2018

No matter the time of year, there’s never a shortage of happenings in Boulder County, and we’d love to see you at one (or more) of them! Every month, we’ll be sharing some of the events we’ll be attending as well as others that we know you’d love to hear about. Read on for June 2018’s upcoming events:

Colorado Shakespeare Festival

Various venues on the CU Boulder campus

The 2018 Summer Season of CU Presents: CO Shakespeare Festival begins on June 8th. Choose one of five available shows to be performed in a venue on the beautiful CU Boulder campus and plan to experience all the emotions that accompany love stories, comedy and family drama. 10th Annual Longmont Downtown Summer Concert Series

Experience beautiful summer evenings, good music, and food and drink at Longmont’s summer concert series, held every Friday in June. A family-friendly event with FREE admission, the concert series takes place from 6-9:30pm in downtown Longmont (along 4th Avenue between Main and Kimbark Streets). IRONMAN Boulder

Watch some of the world’s elite triathletes compete in the 5th annual IRONMAN triathlon. The race begins at 6:05am with a 2.4 mile swim at the Boulder Reservoir, followed by a 112 mile bicycle ride through Boulder County, and finishing with a 26.22 mile run that ends in Boulder. To take in the athletes competing, head to the Pearl Street Mall to watch the athletes cross the finish line near 13th Street and Arapahoe. Visit the IRONMAN website for more information.

Cherry Day at the Longmont Farmers Market

Boulder County Fairgrounds

Join us in celebrating Colorado’s cherry season at the Longmont Farmer’s Market. This is a FREE family-friendly day at which the entire family can learn about this tasty fruit from local farmers as well as play various games, enjoy delicious food and get their faces painted, all within a cherry-related theme! Colorado Latino Festival

Boulder, CO

The Colorado Latino Festival is an event designed to celebrate the diversity and contributions of Latin American and Caribbean people who reside in Colorado. This festival is sure to be fun for the whole family as you take in musical acts, enjoy special attractions of the cultures represented and eat some delicious Latin American cuisine!
