Our SnowBusters program (formerly known as IceBusters) connects members of the community with seniors who face the challenge of securing safe access to their home after snowstorms. After a storm hits, our volunteers visit seniors’ homes to shovel snow, providing friendly interactions, and promoting safety and peace of mind.

Our free services are open to Boulder County residents* ages 60 and better.

You can start requesting services after we receive your paperwork.
There’s no fee, but we happily accept donations.
Because we rely on volunteer availability and skill, we do not guarantee services. But we have a 90+ percent success rate.
The client is responsible for any tools needed (with the exception of volunteer transportation).
If there is more than an inch of snow and no forecast of sun (melting) the volunteer will come within 24 hours after it stops snowing.
Not necessarily, the intention of IceBusters is to keep your sidewalks clear and provide you safe access in and out of your house.
If you have Ice Melt that you want used, let your volunteer know. They do not provide Ice Melt.
