Our SnowBusters program (formerly known as IceBusters) connects members of the community with seniors who face challenges clearing snow from sidewalks around their home, oftentimes leading to a fine from the city. After a storm hits, our volunteers visit seniors’ homes to shovel snow, provide friendly interactions, and promote safety and peace of mind.
Sign up to receive snow cleanup—and warm conversation—from people in your community who are happy to help.

The client is responsible for any tools needed (with the exception of volunteer transportation).
If there is more than an inch of snow and no forecast of sun (melting) the volunteer will come within 24 hours after it stops snowing.
Not necessarily, the intention of IceBusters is to keep your sidewalks clear and provide you safe access in and out of your house.
If you have Ice Melt that you want used, let your volunteer know. They do not provide Ice Melt.
Help seniors flourish by reconnecting them—as recipients and contributors—with their surrounding communities.
