Staying connected to the meaningful things in life is important. At Cultivate, our focus is to empower seniors to become closer to their communities. Seniors without access to basic needs and services have been growing year after year. Cultivate is a leader in providing programs and services that allow seniors to remain engaged and take control of health, mobility, and home services.
Cultivate provides approximately 15,000 direct services to clients each year.
Cultivate places volunteers who contribute around 30,000 service hours to the local community.
We have dedicated ourselves to helping seniors flourish by reconnecting them—as recipients and contributors—with their surrounding communities. We also provide exciting special events for our seniors to attend yearly. Our services span throughout Broomfield and Boulder Counties.
Through our volunteer-powered services and programs, we have created a community of volunteers of all ages who embrace our senior population as valued members of our Cultivate community.
At Cultivate, helping seniors is not just a job. We truly believe that providing options for seniors to live the best life they can is the true road to maintaining life independence, and therefore empowerment.
Our programs provide clients with access to safety, health, and friendship.
Due to unique challenges seniors may have trouble getting to the grocery store. Our volunteers provide weekly grocery deliveries, improving seniors’ health and satisfaction.
Many senior vets have difficulty finding transportation to medical appointments. Our volunteers provide escorted rides to and from appointments for veterans and their family who are 60+.
Our trained volunteers visit seniors’ homes and perform simple home repairs, wheelchair/walker repairs, and grab bar installations to reduce risks of falling.
Snow and ice can be dangerous, and managing and removing it can be difficult. Our volunteers shovel snow and remove ice throughout the winter months, preventing falls and HOA fines.
Keeping up with yard maintenance can be difficult, especially if one has mobility issues. During the spring and summer months our volunteers perform basic yard clean up, preventing falls and HOA fines.
RSVP, the nation's largest network for volunteers 55+, matches prospective volunteers with meaningful opportunities in their communities. We have been the local RSVP station since 1972.
Help seniors flourish by reconnecting them—as recipients and contributors—with their surrounding communities.
